Scar:

Otoplasty or ear surgery is carried out through an incision made behind the ear. The skin is detached from the cartilage and is reshaped. The scar is not perceived because it is located the space between the ear and skull.

Postoperative:

After the otoplasty or ear surgery, the patient will wear a dressing, like a helmet. After this is removed, the patient will need to use a headband for a month. The stitches are removed after seven days. For seven days, when you lie down, you should keep your head elevated and avoid any trauma to the ears, even sleeping on the side, and adding any type of pressure for a period of 3 to 4 weeks. The end result can be seen after six months or a year, which will depend on each patient.
